Rob has been actively involved in the property industry for the past 30 years. Starting his career as a Plant, Machinery, Asset & Infrastructure Valuer he carried out valuations around the world for clients that included Fonterra, Hilton Hotels, Fletchers Building, The Australian Government & Air New Zealand. As a Registered Valuer, Rob worked for DTZ & Kight Frank before becoming a director of the international property company Jones Lang LaSalle.
In 2005 Rob decided to move to the Wairarapa and purchased The White Swan Hotel. A well-known gorgeous boutique country hotel in the heart of historic Greytown which he owned & operated for 10 years.
More recently Rob attained his Real Estate license and was instrumental in opening Tremains Wairarapa. He has been the Wairarapa Regional Manager for the past 6 years. This role has seen him running five offices across multiple real estate brands throughout the Wairarapa Region.
Due to his extensive experience Rob currently holds numerous property qualifications that include Associate of the Real Estate Institute of NZ (AREINZ), a Licenced Agent under the REA, Member of the Property Institute of NZ (MPINZ), Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and also being a Registered Plant & Machinery Valuer.
Rob is excited about stepping into his new role as the Tremains Regional Manager where he will take on the responsibility of numerous additional Tremains offices across the Central Region along with the opening of new offices in the near future.
