Having immigrated from The Netherlands 26 years ago, Marlene has the advantage of speaking multiple languages including Dutch, English, German, and Brazilian Portuguese. In her previously held positions of vet nurse, dentist assistant, sponsor manager for the Dairy Industry & property management, it has given her extensive experience in dealing with people from all walks of life giving her that edge over many of her competitors.
Marlene comes from a farming background and with her family, she has had the opportunity to farm in Brazil and New Zealand. With her support, Marlene’s husband, Gerard won The New Zealand Dairy Farm Manager Award of the year in 2018 which is no small feat and is a testament to their outstanding dedication and enthusiasm for what they take on.
In between farming, Marlene and Gerard have managed to set up their own property portfolio having purchased multiple properties for their future retirement.
Marlene has always been passionate about real estate and coming into the industry, she is focused on helping people find their dream property and guiding them through the process. She is looking forward to her newfound career and is eager to get started and dive in to the local market.
