From a background as varied as the Taupo landscape and a skillset as far and wide, Tom joined the real estate industry in the second half of 2017.
After completing the International Baccalaureate course at high school in Australia, Tom took a leap of faith to do something way left of field – dairy farming. After two years it was time to get serious and head to university following his original career path undertaking a Bachelor of Arts/Education majoring in Environmental Science and English Literature.
The call of home and family ultimately drew Tom back to New Zealand in 2015 where he built an outstanding reputation in the Taupo hospitality industry. With the belief that Taupo wouldn’t survive without its tourism industry, customer service and customer experience have always been at the top of his list of values which now hold him in good stead in the real estate profession. Naturally, the move into the real estate profession was a big change from the early mornings baking and making coffee, yet with the support and guidance of Stacey, he was able complete his real estate qualifications and move into a sales-oriented role as part of Stacey’s team as her licensed Sales Assistant.
Tom strives to make clients feel at ease with his cheeky and energetic charm and coupled with his big city chic ensures the perfect mix when buying or selling your home. He is passionate about matching people to properties. His attention to detail and knowledge of sales statistics ensures that clients receive accurate, up to date and thorough information about the property. With an enthusiastic and fresh approach to real estate, Tom has a commitment to ensuring each of his clients have a rewarding and stress-free experience.
Whether you are looking to purchase your very first home, an investment property or holiday home, relocate, downsize or upsize, Tom will listen to your needs and happily go above and beyond to achieve a great result for you.
