This year’s Tremains Teddy Bears’ Picnic will be held on Sunday, 27th October at Anderson Park in Napier 10am – 3pm, with all proceeds going to Austism Hawke’s Bay.
Entry is free and is free to register a teddy bear!
Last year the weather was great and there was a fantastic turnout of families of all ages, and of course teddy bears galore. The various names of the children’s furry mates were endless. There were a few interesting ones, for example there was ‘anchovy the penguin’ and then, of course, the copious amounts of the good old classics ‘Ted’, ‘Mr Ted’ and ‘Teddy’.
This year will be a fun-filled day with many things to do:
- Colouring Competition – 3 Prizes In 3 Age Groups
- Craft Stalls
- Mahons amusements
- Face Painting
- Pony Rides
- Story Telling – and much, much more
